It is generally believed that, time value of a customer is not realized until the goods are delivered at his/her door step. This is the primary perceived function of the logistics manager in any organization. It is a function of supply chain management and the effective and efficient discharge of these responsibilities determine the position of the company in the industry.

This sensitive function requires experience, determination, commitment and hard work. “Golden fish can never be hidden” so they say. We searched and found him despite his busy nature to chat and answer some probing question bothering the industry.

ISMA, Bright Iliya, is a Logistics Manager in one of the big multi-nationals. Having been with the company for six (6) years, the proficient manager oversees the movement of his company's product from their four different plants; Lagos, Port Harcourt and Manufacturing plant in Obajana, Kogi State and BCC in Benue Stateto various distributors and customers all over the country.
